Nootropic, anxiolytic and sleep compounds.

Semax, selank, cerebrolysin, the racetam-adjacent compounds and the sleep peptides — mostly nasal and oral rather than injected.

Two things make this group awkward to track. The effects are entirely subjective, so without a recorded score there is nothing to look at afterwards; and a large share are dosed nasally, where "one spray" is a different amount depending on the device and the concentration. Recording the actual mass rather than the number of sprays is what makes two months comparable.

Common questions

How do I track something with no objective measure?

Pick two or three specific things — sleep quality, focus, anxiety — and score each daily on the same scale at the same time of day. Consistency matters more than precision; a rough score recorded every day is far more readable than a careful one recorded sometimes.

How do I convert a nasal dose?

Work from concentration, not sprays. The unit converter goes between mg, mcg and volume once you enter the concentration your vial was made to.

Do any of these have approved products?

A small number do; most do not, and several are approved only outside the United States. Each compound page states its own position from its own sources rather than generalising across the category.

Every figure on these pages is sourced the same way — see the editorial policy for the hierarchy, and the full library for all 208 compounds.
