How to pick a
peptide tracker.

Most apps in this category log a dose and set a reminder. The difference shows up three months in, when you want to know whether any of it worked — and that is a question about levels, labs, body composition and cost, not about checkboxes.

The five things that actually differ

1. Does it model levels, or just store entries?

A checklist tells you what you typed. A tracker worth the name runs every dose through the compound's half-life so you can see what is still circulating — which is what makes a twice-weekly protocol legible at all. Ask whether the app knows each compound's half-life, or whether it is just a list with dates on it.

2. Does it count the vial down?

Doses come out of a physical vial that expires. An app that tracks doses but not inventory leaves you doing reconstitution arithmetic at the counter and guessing when to reorder. Look for doses remaining rather than millilitres, and for a reconstitution calculator that draws the syringe.

3. Can it take your bloodwork?

Typing a panel in by hand is the reason most people stop. Importing the PDF straight out of your lab portal is the difference between a tracker you keep using and one you abandon in month two.

4. Does it produce something you can hand over?

Appointments go better with a document. A dose list is not that document — protocol, adherence, labs, trends and photos in one PDF is.

5. What does it cost you, and what does your data cost to leave with?

Two separate questions. Per-dose and per-month cost tracking is rare and genuinely useful. So is being able to export everything as CSV and take a full backup without paying — an app that charges for the exit is telling you something.

Watch for a free tier that caps the number of compounds or the length of your history. Those are the two things a tracker is for, and capping them makes the free tier a demo. What is the best peptide tracking app?

It depends on whether you want a reminder or an answer. If you are running one compound on a fixed schedule, almost anything works.
