Dexamethasone

Potent synthetic corticosteroid used for a broad range of inflammatory, autoimmune, and oncologic conditions. Occasionally misused in sports for its cortisol-like performance-adjacent effects and anti-inflammatory action. Not a peptide.

CategoryResearch / Investigational
Typical routeOral
Half-life~1.8-3.5 hours (biological effect duration: 36-72 hours)
Common dose rangeVaries enormously by indication (0.5-20 mg/day); off-label performance use not standardized
Typical cycle lengthShort courses (days) for most conditions; chronic use is discouraged

BioHack Track models Dexamethasone at a half-life of 2.5 hours, so every dose you log is decayed against that curve and the app shows what is still circulating — not just what you typed.

Reconstitution

Oral tablet or injectable solution; injectable form pre-mixed.

Storage

Store at room temperature; injectable vials per label.

Cautions

Prescription medication. Chronic use causes adrenal suppression, immunosuppression, bone loss, metabolic effects (blood sugar elevation, weight gain), and Cushing's syndrome features. WADA-prohibited in competition.

Track Dexamethasone in BioHack Track. Half-life, dose range and route come pre-filled from this library — log a dose and the app counts your vial down, models what is in your system, and puts it on the same chart as your labs and body composition.
